Gus talks about two bishops who gave conflicting statement on churches being sanctuaries for illegal immigrants. Manchester, New Hampshire Bishop Peter Libasci said his diocese will not allow illegal immigrants to take refuge by living in its churches and suffer criminal prosecution and fines for harboring those not in this country legally. Conversely, Bishop Robert McElroy gave the opposite stance and encouraged his churches to provide sanctuary to undocumented immigrants. Gus goes over each perspective.

And, today, for our Lenten 40/40/40 Project, Gus talks with Marcie Little of Save the Storks, which exists to partner with pregnancy resource centers and give abortion-vulnerable women a choice that will change their lives forever. They partner with resource centers all over the nation, providing them with powerful tools and training to more effectively connect with those women in their communities. Also, as we head into the Easter vigil, where RCIA candidates are baptized and confirmed into the faith, Gus talks with listeners who’ve converted to Catholicism.
