We’re finally getting back to normal on Seize the Day. For the first time since the beginning of Pope Radio on the Catholic Channel, back on Monday, September 21st, Gus did his show live from his studio in Tampa, Florida.

We’re still feeling the buzz from Pope Francis’ visit to the U.S. and Gus kept the phone lines open for listener reaction, and Gus also talks with two people who participated in the World Meeting of Families; Fr. Philip Smith and Jimmy Mitchell. Fr. Smith, a priest in the diocese of Toledo, was one of @ 1,500 priests who concelebrated the mass with Pope Francis on Sunday on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia (see picture below) and he shares that experience with Gus and the listeners. Jimmy Williams participated in several meetings throughout the week and shares his thoughts on the whole week, and the effect the pope’s visit had on him.

Gus also played several audio clips with pilgrims in Philadelphia prior to and following the papal mass on Sunday.
