Gus is inspired by today’s Gospel reading (Luke 8: 19-21) in which Jesus, upon hearing that his mother and brothers are standing outside and they wish to see Him, says to the crowd, “My mother and my brothers are those who hear the word of God and act on it.”
He asks his listeners about their family faith history. How many brothers and sisters did they have? Did they grow up Catholic? Do they still practice? And, have they passed it on to their kids?
