It’s the Feast Day of the Annunciation of Our Lord to the Blessed Virgin Mary. Gus honors it in two ways.
First, he asks listeners to call in and describe any misnomers they’ve heard from friends and/or family about Catholics’ devotion to the Blessed Mother.
Second, after stating that the announcement to Mary by St. Gabriel that she was pregnant with the Christ child was an unexpected pregnancy, Gus asks his listeners if they too ever had an unexpected pregnancy and how they handled it.
