Gus talks about the news that came out of the Vatican last week that Pope Francis was contemplating changing the English translation of the line in the Our Father that says “lead us not into temptation” to “let us not enter into temptation.” The story is mostly false. The pope is not seeking to change the line but a change was made by French bishops and was implemented this Advent. What the pope did say was that he believed the English translation is a poor one.
