Due to unforeseen circumstances, like a bolt of lightning directly striking Gus’ house yesterday afternoon, we were unable to bring you a live Seize the Day today. We are working hard behind the scenes to get Gus back up on the air as soon as possible so be listening!
In place of the live show, and in honor of St. Dominic’s feast day today, we are rebroadcasting Seize the Day w/Gus Lloyd and the Friars on Foot, which originally broadcast on June 27, 2016. In this class episode, Gus joined two Dominican Friars, Fr. Francis Orozco and Fr. Thomas Schaeffgen, in Senatobia, Mississippi en route to Memphis, Tennessee. They had started out nearly four weeks earlier from New Orleans; make it their mini version of the Way of St. James.
