On this Tuesday after Easter, Gus opens up the phone lines to “newly minted” Catholics; that is, those who were welcomed into the Church this past weekend on the Easter Vigil. Gus even hears from a caller who was so moved by the Easter Vigil mass he attended, that he’s seriously considering going into the RCIA program.
Also, in the last hour of Seize the Day, Gus presents his original program “Canonization 101,” which focuses on the impending sainthood of Popes John XXIII and John Paul II. Guests include author Greg Tobin, Catholic speaker Jason Evert and Professor of Mission and Culture at Catholic Theological Union, Fr. Stephan Bevans.
