Gus starts the show off today with a heavy heart as his sister, who has cancer, is placed in hospice. He assures everyone that there is hope his sister could get better and may be able to move back into the Lloyd household.

Like any good Catholic brother would, Gus made sure his sister met with a priest before she left and received the sacrament of the anointing of the sick, otherwise known as Extreme Unction and said a great peace came over her. Gus asks his listeners if they, or anyone they know, has ever received the anointing of the sick and what kind of effect it had.

Lastly, Gus is joined, in his home, by Fr. Leo Patalinghug, co-host of Entertaining Truth on the Catholic Channel, who just so happens to be in town doing a parish mission. To find out more about Fr. Leo and his movement, Grace Before Meals, click here.
