It’s one day closer to the pope’s arrival in Jerusalem and Gus Lloyd and Lino Rulli aren’t letting any grass grow under their feet waiting. Gus kicks off the show with Fr. Eamon Kelly, vice charge of the Pontifical Institute Notre Dame of Jerusalem Center. He talks about his vocation to the priesthood and life as a priest in the Holy Land.

Afterwards, Gus and Lino talk about their journey to Caesarea Philippi, the place where Jesus asks His disciples who they think He is, After Peter reveals that Jesus is the Son of the Living God, Jesus says, “And so I say to you, you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church and the gates of the netherworld shall not prevail against it.” They followed that up visiting the Shepherd’s Fields in Bethlehem, which is the spot where angels revealed the birth of Jesus Christ to the many shepherds keeping watch over their flocks.

Afterwards, along with thousands of other pilgrims, they were able to visit the Church of the Nativity, which is built upon the site where Jesus was born. Not bad for a day’s work!
