Gus starts off by chuckling through a bogus story about how Pope Francis is seeking to change, or revise, the 10 Commandments. If you want a good laugh, click here.
Then, our second hour is chock full of guests. First up, is Bishop Michael Byrnes, auxiliary bishop for the Archdiocese of Detroit. In addition to sharing his vocation story, Bishop Byrnes also talks with Gus about ministering to those with same-sex attraction, which is the theme of the Welcoming and Accompanying Our Brothers and Sisters with Same-Sex Attraction Conference, August 10-12, that his most reverend is promoting.
Afterwards, Michael Higgins, assistant to the vocation director for the Archdiocese of Newark, NJ and contributor for Ignitum Today, spoke to us about a day in the life of a diocesan priest. You can read the article Michael wrote on that very subject by clicking here.
And, Gus dedicates the last hour to talking with listeners who’ve been singled-out or admonished for their Catholic faith/beliefs, particularly in the wake of the SCOTUS same-sex marriage decision.
