Brian Pusateri calls in to talk about the ministry he founded called Broken Door Ministries, which focuses on fixing the recurring sins in our own lives. Brian reveals in the interview that as an altar boy, at the age of 12, he was sexually abused by a priest. He talks with Gus about what happened, how it affected him and what he continually does to overcome it.
Also, inspired by today’s Gospel reading from Matthew 10 where Jesus tells His apostles “Whoever will not receive you or listen to your words, go outside that house or town and shake the dust from your feet,” while instructing them in their ministry, Gus talks about the times in his life where he had to cease debating with some people about his faith and just walk away. Inspired by this, he asks listeners to call in who’ve experienced anti-Catholicism at some point in their life.
