Gus started the day recounting the events of yesterday morning when TV reporter Alison Parker and her cameraman Adam Ward were killed while live on the air. Gus told about how it was personal since his oldest son is in TV news. He then asked listeners who have lost a child to call and share their stories.
Gus was joined by Dr. Mikki Meyers, a Marriage and Family Therapist, who talked about dealing with grief from a sudden and violent loss.
Finally, as college football season is starting, Bob Dunning stopped by to talk about this upcoming season and make his prediction for this year’s national champion. Ohio State gets the nod from Bob and Gus, who is an inveterate Buckeye fan anyway!
