Gus gives his reaction to the Paris terrorist attacks this past Friday, November 14th, and admits he struggles with hating these perpetrators and hoping for their demise and praying for their conversion. He takes it to the listeners and asks how they deal with it. Also, Frank Rocca, Vatican correspondent for the Wall Street Journal, calls in to talk about the pope’s response to these horrific attacks.
Gus also talks with Catholic Lane writer Barbara Lishko about a funny article she wrote recently where she talks about the struggles she encountered selling her house and the age-old practice of burying a St. Joseph statue to help it sell faster. Afterwards, Gus asks listeners if they’ve ever done the St. Joseph’s prayer, complete with burying the statue, and how it worked for them.
