Marjorie Dannenfelser, president of the Susan B. Anthony List, calls in to talk about South Dakota becoming the 16th state to limit abortion after five months – more than halfway through pregnancy – because of the unborn child’s ability to feel pain. She also gives us an update on pro-life legislation in other U.S. states. Also, Gus asks her about presidential candidates and Marjorie talks about what they’re doing to educate people about where the candidates stand on life issues.
And, Gus talks about the Extraordinary Ministry of Holy Communion and takes calls from Eucharistic ministers across the country, including one woman who’s done it for 35 years and one who’s been at it for about six months.
Also, it’s Monday so that means we do a round of Tell Me Something Good. We even hear from Mindy who talks about her husband coming into full communion this Easter and it turns into somewhat of a mini Conversion Corner segment.
