Gus joins Fr. Francis Orozco, O.P. and Fr. Thomas Schaeffgen, O.P., aka the Friars on Foot, in the midst of their 400 mile journey from New Orleans to Memphis. Gus meets them in Senatobia, Mississippi, which is @ 40 miles south of Memphis, and walks with them down local highways. He talks with the friars about their inspiration and what led them to undertake such a mission and what challenges they’ve faced and where they’ve heard God in all of this and how they’ve grown spiritually. He also talks with each about their vocation stories and what lead them to the Order of Preachers (aka Dominicans).
