We begin with the unfortunate news of the resignation of Archbishop John Nienstedt, of Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota, over his handling of sexual abuse allegations at the hands of a pedophile priest. Nicole Winfield, Vatican correspondent for the Associated Press, spoke with Gus about the criminal charges leveled against the archbishop and others. To listen to the interview in its entirety, click here.

Gus takes reaction from listeners on this and on the Catholic Church’s handling of the priestly abuse scandals.

Then, we lighten the mood a little with Tell Me Something Good and, later, Diane Hale calls into the program to talk about natural family planning and Napro Technology. She is the director of education at St. Gianna’s Center for Women’s Health and FertilityCare. You can learn more about the work they do by clicking here.

Abp. John Nienstedt
