Every Monday, Gus does a segment called “Tell Me Something Good.” It’s an opportunity for listeners to call in and share their recent blessings. Today Gus put a bit of a different twist on it and asked listeners to call in and share their greatest blessing of 2014. Great stories of God’s power ensued.
Today we finished up Project Christmas 2014 with the Children’s Dream Fund. We raised $6000 for Didi, a teenage girl with a brain tumor whose wish is to go on an Alaskan cruise with her family. We also raised $2500 for Ismael, a 13-year-old boy with leukemia who had surgery on a tumor on his spine that rendered him unable to walk. His dream is to walk around Disney World in the spring with his family.
