Christmas is here! Christmas is here!
I can remember waking up VERY early on Christmas mornings when I was a kid and yelling that out to my brothers and sisters. We would go wake up Mom and Dad, probably much earlier than they would have liked, and attack the presents under the tree with reckless abandon. Paper flew, toys were played with, new clothes tried on…it was a time of great joy.
Now that my children are grown up, Christmas morning is much less hectic. But it is still filled with love and joy. On this Christmas day, I wish all the best for you and your family. Thank you for inviting me into your life. I consider it a privilege to have you as part of mine. May this Christmas bring you peace and joy, my friend. Merry Christmas!!
Merry Christmas, Father I also remember the joy of the day, but mostly I remember coming home from church with afresh layer of snow.
