In the first reading today from Acts 13, we hear more of Paul's speech in the synagogue in Antioch. He continues to tell the Jews there about the plan of God fulfilled in Christ Jesus.
In the Gospel reading from John 14, Jesus says to the disciples, "Where I am going you know the way." Thomas replies, "Master, we do not know where you are going; how can we know the way?" Jesus says, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
How can we know the way? Many today are asking the same question, especially in this tumultuous time. The answer is always the same. We may not know where life is going to take us, but we know that Jesus is the way. If we simply follow Him, we are following the way, though we may not know where it leads. But trust that He will never lead us astray.
Father, we put all our trust in Jesus, to lead us along the way that you have set out for us. Amen.
