It’s Day Five of the combined Seize the Day – Catholic Guy show in the Holy Land and today, Gus and Lino visit the Church of the Holy Sepulcher and following that up with a short walk to Golgotha. For those of you who may not be entirely sure, the Church of the Holy Sepulcher is the spot where Jesus was buried and Golgotha is the spot where He was crucified.
The two also visited the Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu, which is French for “the rooster sang.” This is on the spot commonly associated with where St. Peter denied Christ three times during His Passion. Since we’ve already posted a picture earlier this week of the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, below is a photo of the Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu.
