Jesus is risen! Alleluia! Happy Easter!

The long season of Lent has come to a close. Now it's time to celebrate! While Lent is forty days long, the season of Easter is fifty days long. I hope that your Lenten sacrifices and practices have borne great fruit in your life. Praise God!

Throughout the season of Lent, the word "Alleluia" is omitted from the liturgy. Today at Mass, you'll probably sing the great hymn of Jesus' resurrection. Our prayer today will be the first stanza. Sing it loud! May God bless you and your family always!

Jesus Christ is risen today, Alleluia!
Our triumphant holy day, Alleluia!
Who did once upon the cross, Alleluia!
Suffer to redeem our loss, Alleluia!

Thank you to Our Blessed Mother Mary for allowing God Our Father to give us His Only Son that both Human and Divine, His Death has saved us from eternal damnation. Glory be to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen!
