I can remember waking up VERY early on Christmas mornings when I was a kid and yelling that out to my brothers and sisters. We would go wake up Mom and Dad, probably much earlier than they would have liked, and attack the presents under the tree with reckless abandon. Paper flew, toys were played with, new clothes tried on…it was a time of great joy.
Now that my children are grown up and the grandbabies won’t be around, Christmas morning is much less hectic. But it is still filled with love and joy. On this Christmas day, I wish all the best for you and your family. Thank you for inviting me into your life. I consider it a privilege to have you as part of mine. May this Christmas bring you peace and joy, my friend. Merry Christmas!!
Father, we thank you for sending your Son into the world as a baby. My we honor Him on his birthday, and every day. Amen.
