Steve Abdalla created Wee Believers™ with a mission to establish high-quality, attractive, Catholic educational toys in an effort to increase a child’s knowledge of Faith and love for God. Their desire is to develop an entire line of products that will ignite a fire of faith in children early on in their growth and development - a fire that will enhance the family and faith environments of each child and adult who interacts with the toys. Confined to a wheelchair and reliant on a respirator, Karen Shirk set out to get a service dog so she could be more independent — but agencies turned her down, saying she was too disabled for a dog to make a difference in her life. Frustrated, Shirk eventually decided to obtain a dog on her own. She found Ben, a black German shepherd puppy that, with the help of a trainer, became her service dog. With Ben by her side, Shirk regained a sense of optimism and control over her life. Today she is the Executive director of nonprofit 4 Paws for Ability and has helped partner service dogs with people with a wide range of disabilities.

Tom Hoopes, Executive Editor of the National Catholic Register and professional Rosarian, took my quiz about the rosary, and impressed my audience with tremendous knowledge and expertise. I was impressed with his memory, and his suggestions about how to pray and memorize the rosary the best. Find information about the National Catholic Register at www.ncregister.com
