Recently back from Rome, a nonCatholic friend recently asked me why some former Popes' caskets are made of glass with their bodies visible in St. Peter's Basilica. Although I have also seen them, I didn't have a good answer and wondered if you could educate us.

I'm enjoying listening to your comprehensive Apologetics CD's and feel much enlightened. It's almost like participating in a pep rally! Bless you for your accomplished studies and insights.

The Bible is ageless.
Thank you Gus for disecting it for us to understand more. We will never know everything there is to know and it is an every day journey to be taken.

So many think recent generations are unique.
All we need to do is read and reread to see history repeating itself and how to avoid the sin, temptation and the outcome. It's all there.
How can some say that there is no God? We see His love & gifts everyday - wanting us to be with Him again; If we but take heed and act upon all He says and has revealed to us to obtain everlasting life. We do control our destiny and don't know the hour or day-be prepared always.
What a beautiful faith we have! Alleluia! Amen!

your review of the catechism regarding chastity for all, and the Catholic view on homosexuality was wonderful. Catholic's are so confused when they are accused of hate and of all things, discrimination. Most Catholics keep their mouths shut on this issue out of this fear which is the devil at work. Thank you.

I'll never forget the Priest's homily when he said that "all Catholics are hypocrites but come in there is always room for one more." Church is for sinners most.

Gus - I listened to your CD ysterday about Moral Issues. You are right on about these things. Our hearts should be troubled by the things that trouble God's heart, especially the lives of children! Too many of the politicians are only looking for votes.
