Gus is joined by his bride Michelle to share memories of her mother Tina who passed away on Friday. She talks about what life was like with her mother growing up, her marriage struggles and dealing with her dementia/Alzheimer's and making the tough decision to put her in an assisted living facility at the height of COVID. She also talks about a few signs she and some families members have received that show Tina's in heaven, but that prayers for her will always remain steadfast.

Also, Catholic author/speaker Shaun McAfee calls in to talk about his new book, "The Compendium of Sacramentals: Encyclopedia of the Church's Blessings, Signs and Devotions," available from TAN Books. Shaun and Gus talk about what sacramentals are, including Scapulars, medals, crucifixes, holy water, etc., and how they're not magical items or talismans. They're tangible items used to boost our devotion and draw us closer to Jesus Christ. Shaun also talks about how we should treat these items, particularly if they're blessed.

Afterwards, Gus invites listeners to call in and share what they do with old sacramentals that have seen their better days.
