Gus is joined by Kelly Lester, outreach coordinator for And Then There Were None and ProLove Ministries. Kelly shares her pro-life story in which she had had several abortions before coming to realize she was murdering the child in the womb. She and Gus talk about the news that CVS and Walgreens will begin selling abortion pills, aka mifepristone, this month in stores where it’s legal. She talks from first-hand experience of how traumatic having an abortion is and describes taking mifepristone was probably the worst because she was alone at home with no doctor or medical care. She and Gus also discuss the upcoming Supreme Court review on abortion pill access set for later this month. If you want to find out more about the drugs and their effects, visit littlepillsthatkill.org.

Later, Gus talks about the state of Alabama’s Frozen Embryo law, which ruled that they are, in fact, human beings and should be treated as such, and a conversation he had recently had with a friend who came around on that issue. He ties it in with the CVS and Walgreens mifepristone news and talks about how we need to be consistent on the pro-life front in order to be effective. One of the actions Gus talked about with Kelly Lester that people can take in response to CVS and Walgreens’ decision to sell mifepristone is to boycott both pharmacies. It’s a traditional measure that, over history, has met with mixed results. Gus asks listeners to call in if they’ve ever boycotted and explain who or what it was and why.
