It's the Feast of St. Joseph, foster father of Jesus and husband of Mary, so Gus celebrates in several ways. First, he declares today the true Father's Day. Also, he prays the Litany of St. Joseph and invites listeners to call in and share their devotions to the great saint.
Also, Gus is joined by Catholic author Julia Wade who recently put out a children’s book about St. Joseph called “Joseph’s Workshop” available from Sophia Institute Press. She also has a master’s degree in theology and shares a bit of her faith journey with Gus and talks about what inspired her to write this book. In it, she uses rhyme and repetition to help young readers imagine what it was like to see the great Joseph at work.
And Gus continues with his daily Lenten reading and reflection on Psalm 51.
