Maier to the show to talk about his new book, “True Confessions: Voices of Faith from a Life in the Church.” In it, he interviews several bishops, clergy members and others who work for the Church, anonymously, and asks them about the biggest issues facing the Catholic Church today. Afterwards, Gus invites listeners to call in and talk about what they think are the biggest issue facing the Catholic Church today.
Also, in vitro fertilization is in the news following the Alabama Supreme Court ruling that frozen embryos are human beings. Gus opines on this ruling and its place in the pro-life cause and explains in detail why the Catholic Church is against such measures. Gus invites listeners to call in and share their thoughts and experiences with IVF.
