Last night was the final night of Gus' parish mission at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Celebration, Florida and he broadcasts his final show from his hotel room in nearby Kissimmee. He kicks off revisiting yesterday's very popular topic about close calls and near-misses where you narrowly missed disaster.

Later, in honor of today's Feast of the Conversion of St. Paul, Gus invites his wife Michelle on to talk about this parish mission and share her conversion story, which ultimately led to Gus' conversion.

During Gus' conversation with Michelle, she spoke about how she converted before Gus did and that, for a few months, he was not happy that her faith had become so zealous and felt he was in competition with it. But, through prayer and example, Gus converted about two months later and his zeal took off as well They referred to their marriage at that time as being "unequally yoked." Gus invites listeners to call in whose marriages are currently unequally yoked.

Finally, Michelle shared a Scripture verse that she prayed for his conversion. The passage is Ephesians 1:17-19.

St. Paul, pray for us!

I really enjoyed listening to your wife about her conversion and the scripture prayer she said for your conversion. I am going to say this prayer for some of my family members. Thank you so much for sharing your story. God bless you.

    Hi Gus,
I was listening to your show on Thursday and your bride was with you.
She was talking about what she use to pray from the book of Ephesians. The talk was a silent prayer to help bring along non-believers? Please help me.
Continued best wishes for your daily show and God Bless your Family.
We love you up here in Canada, 30 miles east of Toronto, Courtice, Ontario
